Denim Jacquard Jacket Black

Heavyweight denim jacket with an all-over jacquard graphic woven directly into the fabric. Cut in an oversized, relaxed silhouette with dropped shoulders, two buttoned chest patch pockets, two welt pockets at the waist and a classic pointed collar. Custom antique brass buttons complete the construction. A pronounced wash creates consumed areas, dirty stains and irregular tonal variations across the blue denim, with lightly distressed finishes at the cuffs, collar and hem.

The jacquard artwork draws inspiration from medieval drawings, decorative symbols and historical tapestries preserved within Milan’s Castello Sforzesco. Heraldic forms, celestial imagery, ornamental motifs and archaic signs are reinterpreted as a continuous woven composition across the denim, connecting the visual language of historical Italian craftsmanship with the construction of a traditional workwear jacket. The washing process partially erodes the contrast of the jacquard, making the imagery appear faded and discovered within the fabric, as if the garment itself had aged over time.
