Sweats Reversed Grey

Reversed French terry cotton construction, exposing the looped side of the fabric to create a raw, tactile surface inspired by reused and inside-out garments. Relaxed fit with elasticated waistband and drawstring adjustment. Elasticated cuffs at the ankles. Two side pockets and two welt pockets at the back. Red and blue parallel stripes run along the legs, referencing traditional athletic garments. Large black illustrations are printed across the front and back.

The graphic language draws from mystical and esoteric imagery connected to the pagan traditions and material culture of Southern Italy. Ancient vessels, archaeological fragments, ritual objects, fertility figures, the sun, grapes, labyrinths and natural symbols are assembled like an informal archive of objects collected across different periods. Their engraved appearance recalls illustrations found in historical books, local archives and archaeological catalogues. Applied to a familiar sportswear silhouette, these fragments connect everyday clothing with ancient ritual, folklore and collective memory.
