Denim Pants Inferus Boro

Cotton denim constructed through an extensive boro-inspired process, layering and distressing the surface to create a dense, irregular texture across the entire garment. Frayed threads, exposed fibres and overlapping fabric create depth while preserving the strength and structure of the denim. Wide-leg silhouette. Belt loops. Front and back pockets. The construction draws from the clothing and protective layers worn by medieval fighters, where different materials were assembled to provide warmth, resistance and protection. The dense, fragmented surface recalls worn padded garments, rough hides and fur used beneath or alongside armour. Through the boro technique, denim is transformed into an almost organic surface, blurring the distinction between textile, fur and protective equipment. A reflection on armour, survival and the primitive function of clothing as a second skin.
