Mohair Lines Olive

Soft mohair-effect knit construction with irregular horizontal bands in warm olive brown and black. Relaxed oversized silhouette with dropped shoulders, crew neckline and long generous sleeves. Rib-knit collar, cuffs and hem provide subtle structure, while the brushed surface softens the graphic and gives the stripes a faded, imperfect appearance. Small embroidered logo at the left cuff.

Inspired by vintage college sweaters filtered through punk and DIY culture. The traditional striped knit is distorted through uneven lines, blurred edges and a worn color palette, shifting a familiar collegiate reference toward something rougher and less conventional. The heavily brushed texture gives the garment the appearance of an old sweater repeatedly worn, altered and passed between different subcultures. A study of collegiate uniform, punk appropriation and the transformation of classic knitwear through wear and imperfection.
