Mohair Prey Moss

Soft mohair-effect knit construction featuring an abstract animal figure across the body in muted sand, cream and moss tones. Relaxed oversized silhouette with dropped shoulders, crew neckline and long sleeves. Rib-knit collar and cuffs provide subtle structure, while the heavily brushed surface dissolves the graphic into the texture of the garment. Small embroidered logo at the left cuff.

Inspired by prehistoric cave drawings and early forms of human representation. The animal figure references the simplified silhouettes found in Paleolithic imagery, where animals were recorded through essential shapes rather than realistic detail. Translated into brushed knit, the image becomes blurred and almost absorbed by the surface, recalling pigments fading into stone over time. A study of primitive image-making, anthropology and the instinctive relationship between humans, animals and their environment.
