Resort Shirt Canvas

Pure linen developed for lightness, breathability and a naturally textured hand. Short-sleeve resort construction with a relaxed fit, dropped shoulders and open collar. Button closure at front. Printed graphics extend asymmetrically across the body and sleeves in faded tones of red, green and yellow, with an intentionally irregular, worn finish.

The graphics draw from reused jute sacks traditionally employed to transport fruit, coffee and other agricultural goods. Stamped lettering, fruit illustrations and identification marks recall a functional visual language shaped by transport, handling and repeated use. Transferred onto linen, these elements evoke objects moving between farms and markets before being repaired or repurposed. A reflection on rural trade, material reuse and the accidental beauty created by utility and time.
